[Today Crona is trying to be normal, and take the advice of a few people. And it looks like he's going to say something for the first few moments....but then he takes a deep breath, and just stares at the book, not even realizing that the video function is on. He's really trying hard to say what he means...He does that a few more times, with his eyes going everywhere, until he takes one last smal breath before he starts talking pretty fast.]

I was told that a lot of people have hobbies here...And I was wondering if...if I could learn some. Any ones would be nice.

[And it cuts off rather quickly. He's never had to ask people something like that, and he doesn't have any way to deal with it.

Though a little later when he's not so freaked out when people start talking to him, he's finally doing the last thing on his list...Taking out Ragnarok at the edge of the village. Crona doesn't want to go inside, so it is really going to b e the best Ragnarok will get.

Crona can be found there, holding a long sword in an awkward mannor. Probably in a position that would leave cuts on anybody else. He lets the sword yell and complain about everything, which is much less painful than in his head, and anybody that approaches crona will be on high alert, and shushing the sword so everything looks...relatively normal...or partly. The sword does have a large mouth on it....

This is Crona's normal day.

[On the off chance that he is as unresponsive as Mytho, she will reach for his wrist to take him inside.]

...Okay.[He's actually quite used to people pulling him by his wrist to take him places, so she should have no problem do that.]

[They go straight to the section containing books about several things to do, mostly craft activities. Other, more intense hobbies have sections elsewhere. The library here is fairly large, and Rue hasn't spent much time there, but she fakes her competence in the shelves like an expert.]

[Crona will take a minute or two to look at all the books before looking back at her.]

...What if I pick one I'm not good at..?

Then you try another. There are so many, you can never run out.

[Which, for the first time, he seems a bit happy about. This is a good reason to stay inside.]

[Well. That got more of a reaction than she expected. Besides that, she has the oddest feeling associated with helping him. It makes her want to smile, only a little bit.]

Will that satisfy you?

[He'll stare at the books for a bit before answering...And it eventually earns a small smile.]

Yes...I won't have to go to school to learn.

[Yep, he would like to learn something other than fighting and killing.]

Do you have a problem with school?

[The local school seemed quaint but decent enough.]

...There's too many people there.

There are barely enough students in this town to comprise a class.

And that's...a lot of people.

How many people would you prefer?

Two.

[He doesn't even need to think about it.]

That's such a small number it wouldn't even count. [Even her advanced ballet class has five people in it, plus the instructor and accompanist.]

But any more is too many...I don't do very well with a lot of people.

[This child is not going to survive life in this town.]

Why?

[It's amazing that he's done so well so far.]

I don't know...It just makes me uncomfortable.

[Very peculiar.]

This library is a lonely enough place.

...But it's full of books, that's not lonely.

[Oh yes, he finally said something positive, and the world didn't explode.]

Books aren't company. [Not the sort Rue ever wants to keep.]

...They're nicer than some people.

[Hm. That's true. They're nicer than some people in this very room.]

Still, they're a poor substitute for anything real.

[The saddest part is that Rue used to like books. Not devour them, but enjoy their entertainment value.]

...I guess so...

[Books are good for staying away from people, but there really is a lot of other stuff to actually do.]
