First Drop ❂ Action / Accidental Voice

[Everything today was wrong. Waking up outside, wearing new clothes that definitely didn't belong to him, along with a random book that had he had found on his face that fell open as he sat up, and the fact that there was no Ragnarok twisting his nose to wake him up just so everything could be blamed on him. No, instead there was a screaming in his head, and every vein in his body aching. The most Crona could do was curl up in a ball, and put his hands over his ears to maybe mute the yelling...but with no effect.]

No, I'm sorry! I don't know why you can't come out! But please stop, it's hurting me!

[He lets out a pained noise as more yelling commenced inside his head.]

T-this isn't my fault! I don't know what's going on, I just woke up! I'm sorry!

[For a very long time this conversation with himself goes on, Crona only apologizing, and not having any answers.

Although the argument finally does end, and when it does Crona is finally walking around. Although he has no idea where he's going, he will keep walking as long as Ragnarok tells him...the only time he does stop is when he hears any unnatural. Steps, talking, or the random branch falling. He hides as best as he can just in case it's something or someone threatening...]

[Oh good. Once he's sure the bird won't be following him anymore, he'll poke just enough of his head out from behind the tree so he can see who's talking to him.]

It can talk?

[It did talk, right? It wasn't just in his head? Because he has enough things in his head right now.]

Not really, but I'm pretty used to animals and have been around them since I was born. It's easy to tell what this guy's feeling anyway, so I'm not surprised if you think something like that.

... Though I'm kind of wondering if he can talk, and I'm just so used to being able to understand him that I don't even notice.

[Soren won't make a sound to prove or disprove that, and Chien sighs in exasperation. Dumb bird.]

[Crona is not very used to people talking to him so much, and no questions were even asked, so all Chien gets is a small nod, if he's looking hard enough since most of his head is still behind the tree.

Wow, you sure are talkative. [Not really, obviously, but Chien doesn't get to use sarcasm much.]

Well, Crona, the first thing you should know is that I was just... Nevermind. [Explaining what he meant would be too tough. This guy seems stupid, so Chien'll take it slow.]

Uh, this is Luceti. This part's the forest, but there's a village an hour's walk or so away from here that's full of people and even some animals. And other... things that live there too. You're like a rabbit though, so you'll probably be better off at the beaches way far away from here. Not many people go there, but there's some kind of device that lets you move from there and the village if you need to. And all the food's free. Your clothes and junk are there too. At the village, I mean, not the beach.

[... Crash course??? It's not slow at all Chien's not a teacher. Soren starts to nod off too.]

I'm not like a rabbit. Rabbits are small and weak. [He says that like he's said that a lot, and he means it.

Thoughit takes him more time to process the rest that was said.]

...Where's the village then?

[Chien can't deny that they are, mostly because he's yet to meet a Buneary, but that odd confidence from such a shaky boy makes him not want to pursue it. They're tasty too though.]

It'll be faster to fly to, if you can stand heights. Or even coming out from behind that tree. You look stupid.

[Yeah, alright, he'll admit hiding behind a tree doen't look very normal, so he cautiously steps out into sight...but he still looks pretty uncomfortable.]

...But if Ragnarok can't come out, I don't know if his wings will work either...

Ragnarok?

[Chien studies Crona, trying to figure out where the hell he could be hiding something with wings called "Ragnarok". It sounded like a strong beast.]

Why are you hiding if you have something named that around you? And it can fly? Looks like it's a one-man ride again, Soren.

He has nothing to do with me hiding...things just scare me.

[He's right though, Ragnarok is strong...Crona is just considering if he should take out Ragnarok as a sword or not now..]

If you've got something strong at your side, you shouldn't be scared of anything.

[It's why he and Soren aren't scared of training in the domain of a wolf goddess.]

But Ragnarok is scary too.

[Which is why he is scared of everything.]

[No Chien that means Crona's scared too. That's why he's so skittish.]

... But I guess since it's to the point to where you'd hide behind a tree, then it's not that good of an idea to let him out or whatever you have going on. Soren can carry us both.

[The Swellow whistles a sighing sound, and preens himself. Better get ready for flight.]

He can still come out in weapon form...but I can sort of control that.

[But if Ragnarok wanted, he could come out without permission..]

...Why can't we walk?

Wait, this Ragnarok thing has wings and is a weapon? What kind of thing is this?

[They cannot walk because only one of them knows the way and he has a bird that's why.]

[Because honestly, Ragnarok is hard to explain. And but walking involves no contact with other things..]

[Soren really doesn't like this idea. He's got a bad feeling, so he'll escape into a tree and watch from there. And but walking also involves sticks in your barefeet how do you fancy drawing blood.]

[Alright then, you get to watch the creepy action of black blood suddenly coming out of his hand, and morphing into a sword.

And after Crona swings it once or twice, it finally yells 'That took you long enough!']

[Oh.

Huh. Well, that's not what he was expecting at all, and Soren shrieks for him. It's more of a screech but whatever.]

What the hell is that?! [From one monster to the next.] That's Ragnarok? Your blood?! I think it's blood... Is it blood?

[Too much yelling. Crona just cringes at it, and tries to talk softly..]

H-he's in my blood, yes.

[horrifying. awful. monstrous. Chien frowns, then shakes his head. If Crona's blood has that sort of ability, then he's probably been called that since he was a kid, too. It... wasn't so bad here, he had to admit, and he knows what it feels like to be hated and feared.

Not a good thing.]

... Pretty cool, I guess. I've only know one other talking sword, and he was a real stiff.

[Soren trills cautiously from above, and keeps a close eye on that weapon. That's too weird.]

[Yes, he knows it's creepy, but those aren't the words he's used to. Useless is much closer. But, he won't have to keep on eye on it for long, as Crona makes it go back into his hand before Ragnarok starts yelling to anybody else.]

...There's only one? All of the weapons in my world talk. [People = weapon in his world, so it's very normal.]

[Useless isn't so bad to Chien, since plenty of people are useless in his world. It's just the monster stuff.]

There was another one that talked, but he was a crazy spear. No one really liked him. He supposed to end the war but he killed a lot of them instead, so the sword was made and that ended the war. What kind of blacksmith do you have that can make any weapon talk?

[Useless is worse than monstrous to him...]

All weapons talk...But Medusa is a witch, which is why Ragnarok is in me..
