Second Drop ❂ Action / Voice

[Crona has managed to stay out of the way of almost everyone since arriving. All one his own he's managed to find a place to sleep, where his clothes were, and where to find food to eat. All of which he normally does at night since almost nobody is wondering around the village at 3 in the morning.

He's even managed to keep Ragnarok as quiet as possible inside his head, though that could only last for so long. But today is the day he finally can't stand it anymore, and can actually be found around the village during normal daytime hours...starting at around nine-ish in the morning. While he is still trying to hide behind the trees, there are just some places he can't, and can be seen hurrying off to the woods.

Though not to many hours later, he's somehow mustered up the courage to speak over the journals.]

I uhm....oh no, this is bad...I-I sorry, but I might need some help.

...My head really hurts...

[That's all he wants to say. While he did manage to make it back to the village, he didn't make it where he wanted, and can be found laying in the middle of a pathway, looking like a bloody mess. (Or what looks like blood) His forearms have been sliced wide open, though the large cuts aren't bleeding at all, though rhwy look like they should.

Though that's not the big problem. The big problem is his face. It's extremely easy to see just about every vein since they are all pitch black. ]

[He'll just nod, and follow...and mostly just watching his arms.]

Once they're bandaged, you won't have to see the wounds, either. You can start to let them heal.

They usually heal just fine..

It will be quicker if it's taken care of properly. We're close now anyway.

[While he'd like to say that none of his wounds have ever really been taken care of, he'll just be quiet, and nod.]

[Ami gives Crono a smile meant to be reassuring.]

In all the confusion, I didn't get your name. What should I call you?

...My name's Crona.

I'm pleased to meet you. [The courtesy is perhaps a bit stiff, under the circumstances, but it's ingrained by long habit.]

[Crona just makes a small noise of acknowledgement. He doesn't have a clue of what to say.]

[The silence feels awkward, and she feels an odd urge to fill it, a compulsion to find something to say, anything.]

Are you feeling any better at all? [The initial attack seems passed..]

My head doesn't hurt anymore. [And his arms feel just fine...they are actually starting to annoy him just a little bit, since he isn't used to bleeding.

Good. Here we are- please come into the office. I have my basic supplies there.

Okay. [He'll go in, and be looking around at everything. He doesn't know what more than half of the stuff is.p

[It's OK: Ami does, and this is one of the rare situations in which she feels confident in herself. She leads Crona into the office, where a few chairs sit in front of the large desk.]

Please sit down. [With the invitation, she scans the shelves and brings down bandages and a tube of ointment.]

[He'll sit in a chair that is closest to a corner, and roll up his sleeves so the cuts are easy to see...which just show they go from his wrist to his elbow.

And Crona only looks a little annoyed at them.]

It may sting, just a little bit, at first. It should be alright after a moment.

...Why will it sting?

[Come to think of it, she can't be sure that his will; she's not familiar with this.]

Normally, a wound leaves some nerve endings exposed. That makes it sensitive. And although the antiseptic cleans the wound, it can irritate them.

I don't think it'll hurt.

[It doesn't even look like he's in pain now.]

[Ami nods, accepting that judgment. "Shall I start, then?"

She prepares the ointment carefully, and gestures as though she's about to apply it to Crona's wounds, though she pauses just before doing so to be sure he's ready.]

[Crona just looks at her, then back at his arm. He's more curious than anything, wanting to see what'll happen.

Though when Ami touches the cut, anything but his skin feels rock solid.]

[She's never heard of skin quite like this, barring perhaps a very rare skin condition.]

Is this because of Ragnarok, too?

Yeah...to make me stop bleeding, and make sure I won't get hurt any worse.

Amazing. There's no one back in my world with a healing ability like that.

Its not for healing...just for protection. If I die, so does Ragnarok, so he has to.
