[The voice you hear over the journals is quiet, and slow.. Quiet enough that it almost sounds like he doesn't want to be heard, and slow enough that it sounds like he doen't even want an answer. But, curious enough that he wants answers.]

I have...two questions...

...How do people make friends? A-and how does someone not scare people away if they are just telling the truth?


[Once that is done and over with, Crona places his journal facing away from him. He's not sure if he wants the answers. But for the first time, he can be seen sitting in plain view of anybody out near the middle of the village. It's taken him quiet a while to stop hiding from anything that moves, and he doesn't like being completely alone anymore.

But that doesn't stop him from drawing circles on the ground with a stick. One around him, one around the journal, then other small ones because he has nothing better to do. No actual drawings come out of this, but he is pleased with himself.]

A musical instrument can be of various devices or contrivances that can be used to produce musical tones or sounds.
The combination of these musical tones are played in a certain pattern to produce a pleasing sound.

What are your thoughts to trying out such a device?

Are they hard to learn?

Like most things, it will require a certain amount of concentration and discipline... however, the reward far outweighs the work that it will require of you.

All you have to do is show a willingness to learn and you'll have no lack of teachers. No one has to work since money isn't required to buy food, clothing or shelter. There are a lot of skilled people here with a lot of time on their hands.

[He's a little surprised to hear that, but then again, he also isn't. He knew kids back home who carried weapons; maybe it was that sort of world.]

Because like, when you meet people, you end up meeting some of their friends, right? And then you meet their friends' friends and soon you end up being around lots of people like it's no big deal!

Well, that's okay! You just have to make new friends and feel more... um. um. Comfy! I'll hang out with you and we can talk, and maybe you'll get better with people.

No, no, don't be sorry! [He flails at the journal, not sure what to say.] It's just... you want friends, right?

They look busier than they actually are. Just politely ask them what they're doing and ask if they would mind teaching you.

Of course everyone is a little bit different. [ Helios smiles on his end. And Helios is the only one with a dark chaotic ancient Egyptian god bound to his soul. In someways he understands what Crona is saying. ] But that doesn't mean that you shouldn't try to give people a chance or, try to h-help them.

[ A pause as he thinks. ] As for that, yes there are. Like, ah, chopping, mincing, mixing as well. The basic things that you use to prepare food.

[Well, if he wasn't stuck with one, he probably wouldn't have one at all.]

I know...but I'm not very good with people. [He's having a hard enough time talking to all these people through a book.]

That sounds kind of hard too.

Oh...okay. [Kind of. The meeting people in person is still the hard part.]
