Third Drop ❂ Voice / Action

[The voice you hear over the journals is quiet, and slow.. Quiet enough that it almost sounds like he doesn't want to be heard, and slow enough that it sounds like he doen't even want an answer. But, curious enough that he wants answers.]

I have...two questions...

...How do people make friends? A-and how does someone not scare people away if they are just telling the truth?

[Once that is done and over with, Crona places his journal facing away from him. He's not sure if he wants the answers. But for the first time, he can be seen sitting in plain view of anybody out near the middle of the village. It's taken him quiet a while to stop hiding from anything that moves, and he doesn't like being completely alone anymore.

But that doesn't stop him from drawing circles on the ground with a stick. One around him, one around the journal, then other small ones because he has nothing better to do. No actual drawings come out of this, but he is pleased with himself.]

Yeah...a lot.

And are they people you'd talk to again?

I don't know...maybe? I think so?

Well see, there you go. That's the first step to having friends. I'd call that a success.

But I've only talked to them over the journals.

So? It's still a step above not talking to them at all.

Nice to meet you. [A pause.] You know, if you ever want to meet some of my friends, just ask sometime. Xion and Naoto wouldn't mind.

What are they like?

Xion's...well, Xion's been my best friend practically since I was born. She's really sweet, she gets along with a lot of people and she's always good to talk to. She's very smart and she loves to learn and always be proactive. She's been here for years, too. She...really lives her life to the fullest. [Which is nice, considering he feels bad he murdered her twice and cut her life short.]

And Naoto's kind of quiet but she's really good at solving mysteries and understanding concepts. She loves to read and she loves to explore. She's a little standoffish sometimes until you get to know her a little better, but she's a good friend. [And practically his girlfriend, at this point.]

They're the best...that's really all I can say.

...It must be nice to have friends like that.

Xion is from my world, but Naoto it took me a bit longer to become friends with her. There are the others, too, but those are my closest friends. [...and Axel who's no longer around. Axel would be glad he was trying to make more friends, right? Sure.] It just takes time.

There's someone here from your world? [That is so lucky.]

There's a couple of us, yeah. There used to be a lot more but a lot of them have gone home now.

That's...[Lucky? Unlucky? He'll just shut up now.]

Some of them leave and come back, but some of them stay gone. It's sort of interesting to watch.

Don't you miss them when they leave..?

Some of them, yeah. [Like Axel, Hayner, Kairi and Namine.] ...others...not so much. [Like the rest of the Organization.] Not everyone from my world gets along.

I can understand that. [He would be very pleased if Medusa was never here.]
