Third Drop ❂ Voice / Action

[The voice you hear over the journals is quiet, and slow.. Quiet enough that it almost sounds like he doesn't want to be heard, and slow enough that it sounds like he doen't even want an answer. But, curious enough that he wants answers.]

I have...two questions...

...How do people make friends? A-and how does someone not scare people away if they are just telling the truth?

[Once that is done and over with, Crona places his journal facing away from him. He's not sure if he wants the answers. But for the first time, he can be seen sitting in plain view of anybody out near the middle of the village. It's taken him quiet a while to stop hiding from anything that moves, and he doesn't like being completely alone anymore.

But that doesn't stop him from drawing circles on the ground with a stick. One around him, one around the journal, then other small ones because he has nothing better to do. No actual drawings come out of this, but he is pleased with himself.]

How to make friends, hm. Well I-I think just being yourself will always help! A-and it's always good to have things to do with other people.

[ Helios isn't the best person to really go to for advice for this sort of thing. Not having many friends himself...it's a bit of a tricky question. ] Just...little things, like cooking sweets for people to try or even helping people out when they need it.
folklorist: (Yes I do agree with that)

Why would...being yourself be bad? I-I mean it's...it's better than not. It shows people that you're willing to, ah, open up to them a-and share things with them. [ He doesn't know about the crazy bit, okay?

Helios chuckles, warm and hardly in a derogatory way. ]
Well you could always learn. I-I mean, only if you wanted to. There's plenty of people who know how to cook here! And I do know that Sanji gives lessons as well.
folklorist: (Yes I do agree with that)

Oh? Is that so? I...don't really find you to be. [ Helios finds it to be a little sad, actually. ]

Anyone can learn how to cook! It just takes some time and effort. You never know, you might even turn out to be a world class chef.
folklorist: (Rather a good listener)

You know...I've dealt with people and, ah, other beings who said the same exact thing. But when I got to know them a bit more...they really weren't so bad. [ So Helios isn't gonna give up on you yet Crona. Besides he's seen some pretty supposedly scary beings in his time. Demons, gods, fallen angels, ghosts too. ]

Oh! Not at all, if you keep up and practice. Cooking is like...any other type of hobby. You just have to keep at and it'll slowly come to you. Starting from the basics always helps too.
folklorist: (I suppose that works)

Of course everyone is a little bit different. [ Helios smiles on his end. And Helios is the only one with a dark chaotic ancient Egyptian god bound to his soul. In someways he understands what Crona is saying. ] But that doesn't mean that you shouldn't try to give people a chance or, try to h-help them.

[ A pause as he thinks. ] As for that, yes there are. Like, ah, chopping, mincing, mixing as well. The basic things that you use to prepare food.
