Ninth Drop ❂ Accidental Voice / Action

I've been here a whole year now...

...I feel like I should've done something, but I'm still so used to being inside, or having someone tell me what to do.. I'm only doing good at being quiet. I don't know why I'm here, I'm not a very interesting person to watch. I just stay inside all the time. I just started learning how to make shapes with paper...

If it's my black blood, they aren't doing anything with it...Only I can use it.

[After saying that, the boy has no choice, he should go outside. He'll walk around town, actually managing not to try and stay as far away from a person as possible. No, today he's walking around like everybody else, he even has his head up...just enough to see, and make sure he doesn't walk into a tree. But, walking around like that for too long isn't something he can manage.

Instead he makes his way to a bridge, and sits at the edge of the water....and starts setting little paper boats into the water, and watch them go. It may not be the most interesting thing in the world, but Crona looked decently pleased that those little boats aren't sinking, and it would seem like he found one hobby he's good at.]

[...oh. Well that wasn't especially encouraging. Yet Eley doesn't look particularly offended. In fact he seems more curious to find out the reasons why. He knew plenty of people who didn't like dragons after all... at least those who weren't him.]

Well, you are still more skilled than me in that case. We could perhaps learn together, if you wished. It... sounded as though you wanted to do more than sit inside by yourself after all this time.

Yes, but I don't think you would like to know... [How do you tell a person that can turn into a dragon that he had to kill little dragons when he was a child...there's no way to make that sound alright.]

I have seen a great many tragedies in my time and been a part of them myself. Part of my duty is to listen to others, so if you wish to tell me, I will listen.

[He tilts his head at that other comment though.] You did not mean to record that? Yes... I heard. I am sure I am not the only one. Perhaps there is reason in me finding you here today.

[Excuse him while he stares at the ground.] T-that wasn't meant to be on the journal.

[Eley falls silent for a moment at that. It was obvious Crona looked troubled by the fact he had heard and he certainly wasn't meaning to make him feel uncomfortable. He'll set aside the other subject for now. Perhaps they should start again.]

Crona... do you feel ashamed of your words? I am sure there are others who would understand how you feel. I too have only just begun to attempt to involve myself with others more.

...though I will admit that I did not quite understand what you meant by your 'black blood'.

[The Spirit adds, a little hesitantly.]

I just...I'm not very good around people. I scare a lot of people back home, and if I talk about myself...it might happen here.

[He would do anything to just be a normal teen. Without Ragnarok talking in his head and-]

...perhaps it will. As a dragon, I have unnerved some myself. But it is only because they do not understand and to understand you must show them who you are and help them. Hiding will not solve anything.

[There was that phrase again. What exactly did he mean by that?]

What does it matter what colour of blood we have? Why should it scare others?

B-but that could make it worse.

[His real self is kinda crazy, and can't deal with anything, and that could end badly here.]

[A weapon? Well... that certainly changes things, and Eley can't help but look a little surprised.]

I am not sure exactly how this weapon of yours would work but... it is how it is used that matters. Since it is a part of you, do you not control it? It does not seem as though you are a person who would enjoy unnecessary violence... perhaps I am wrong.

You're right...I really don't like to fight. But...I have a demon sword in my blood that controls my blood. And he's very loud.

[When talking about Ragnarok, he always starts talking up a storm in Crona's head.]

[Demon. That word seemed to come up a lot when talking to people in the enclosure. Were there really so many creatures out there named 'demons'? All with bad intentions? Or so it seemed.]

Then... you are saying that this demon sword controls you... possesses you. I am sorry... I can see how that would cause others to become scared of you and why you would wish to hide.

Still, it... does not seem right that you should have to live in solitude because of something beyond your control. Have you thought of looking for a way to rid yourself of this demon?

He only controls my blood. [It would be even worse if Ragnarok could control him. Though he almost smiles when he said he could understand. Everybody usually just tells him it's all on him to go outside.]

If...If I die, Ragnarok dies. That's the only way.

Your blood is a large part of you. Of course it would make things... difficult.

[He shakes his head rather quickly at that final statement too. He'd heard things like that before and he wasn't going to take it lightly this time.]

There are many kinds of people from many different worlds in Luceti. There may yet be a way to at least silence him, even if he cannot be removed. Please, do not turn to death so quickly. It would be a waste.

[Or, well, his mom the witch.]

No...I don't want to die...but nobody in Luceti can do anything. It's something I just live with...

[Since talking with Crona, Eley has to wonder just how many others were suffering... not just here but in all the worlds that supposedly existed outside of Luceti. He wished he could do something to stop it. He had a hard enough time watching the suffering of the people in Aether, let alone elsewhere.

But... he wouldn't give up. He needed to learn to trust people again and also how to get along with them. He needed that human understanding to really be able to make a difference.]

I am sorry to hear that you have suffered, especially at the hands of another. I will keep hoping that there will be an answer to your problem and I hope that you will do the same. In the meantime... I hope that I will see you more in the future.

I don't know...it might not be good if he's gone...I can only fight because of him.

[He was taught to fight at a very young age with Ragnarok, so that's how he kind of sees him. As a weapon that makes him stronger.]

Do you really have a need to fight? Surely it would be better to put him to rest so that you can live the life you desire. Violence is not always necessary.

[And Eley would never encourage it, though obviously he knows nothing of Crona's world.]

In my world meisters have to fight to keep a Kishin from being made.

[Which is what he was supposed to be, but his soul didn't fit right...So now he's a good guy.]

...what are 'meisters'? And 'Kishin'?

[Eley's watching with interest now. He enjoyed learning about things he had never heard of, so Crona's certainly got his attention now~]

Meisters are the ones that can use a weapon...and a kishin is pretty much a demon god.
