Ninth Drop ❂ Accidental Voice / Action
I've been here a whole year now...
...I feel like I should've done something, but I'm still so used to being inside, or having someone tell me what to do.. I'm only doing good at being quiet. I don't know why I'm here, I'm not a very interesting person to watch. I just stay inside all the time. I just started learning how to make shapes with paper...
If it's my black blood, they aren't doing anything with it...Only I can use it.
[After saying that, the boy has no choice, he should go outside. He'll walk around town, actually managing not to try and stay as far away from a person as possible. No, today he's walking around like everybody else, he even has his head up...just enough to see, and make sure he doesn't walk into a tree. But, walking around like that for too long isn't something he can manage.
Instead he makes his way to a bridge, and sits at the edge of the water....and starts setting little paper boats into the water, and watch them go. It may not be the most interesting thing in the world, but Crona looked decently pleased that those little boats aren't sinking, and it would seem like he found one hobby he's good at.]

[Action]
Yes...I just learned how to make them, and...and I thought this would be better than not doing anything with them.
[Action]
The Spirit looks down at the river again.]
My people were also fond of making things from paper... I spotted them further down the river and it reminded me of home.
[He pauses, thinking for a moment.]
Perhaps... you could teach me?
[Action]
So other people know how to do it.
[An almost question. He does look slightly happier, knowing he picked something other people do.]
Me teach?
[Action]
At the moment though, he's still wondering about this boat building. He gives a nod and comes to sit down on the bank beside Crona.]
They created many things from birds to lanterns, or kites and paper planes. Often they were simple toys for amusement, but occasionally a design became symbolic instead.
[He tilts his head slightly at that near question.]
Is that a problem? Are they complicated to make?
[Action]
I saw some of those things in the book I got...but I didn't know they were symbolic.
[The book didn't tell him that. Now there's something else to learn about.]
...I've never taught anyone before.
[Action]
You have a book? Interesting... I have found that some traditions from other worlds seem to overlap. It is strange, considering just how many there must be...
As for teaching... something like this should not be difficult. Show me the steps and I will try to learn by example.
[He's watching Crona now, as if waiting for him to begin.]
[Action]
...Okay. I'll try.[Crona will hand him a white square piece of paper. And Crona will start folding slowly, so Eley can follow. He doesn't think to talk through each fold since he's folding slowly. But in the end, There should be a pretty boat in the end.
[Action]
[Even though fun was a concept he hadn't totally grasped yet either.
Anyway, once he's handed that piece of paper he takes it gratefully and waits for further instructions. Eley watches each fold and tries to mimic it, and while his boat might be rather wonky and amateurish, it at least looks the right shape by the end. Eley's rather more proud than he probably should be of what he just made.]
It is not as good as yours... but I believe it is acceptable, yes?
[Action]
[He doesn't know how to deal with that. He's never met a spirit before, and Eley looks like a normal person, but normal looking people turn into weapons in his world, so...it's not too weird. Crona just looks a little confused.]
That's better than the first one I made...
[He was pretty proud when he made one that sort of looked like the picture, so Crona knows why he looks proud.]
[Action]
I am a Wind Spirit... but I was given a human body here. Normally I would not have a visible form. Not unless I take the form of the dragon, which I do from time to time.
[He's not sure if Crona's praise is really warranted but he's happy to hear that he seemed to have done a good job.]
Better or worse, I still need to practice. Perhaps I could take this up as a new hobby of mine,
[Action]
I've never met anyone that can do that.
[And at that comment, Crona almost smiles.]
There's a lot of books in the library that teach you.
[Action]
The library seems to be a great source for information. I will have to investigate further... unless you would like to share more with me yourself.
[Action]
Right now I only know how to make a boat, fish, and a frog...
[Action]
May I ask why? Did... something happen?
Well, you are still more skilled than me in that case. We could perhaps learn together, if you wished. It... sounded as though you wanted to do more than sit inside by yourself after all this time.
[Action]
That would be a lot more...fun to do it with someone else...Wait, you heard what I said? I wasn't talking to the journal...
[Action]
I have seen a great many tragedies in my time and been a part of them myself. Part of my duty is to listen to others, so if you wish to tell me, I will listen.
[He tilts his head at that other comment though.] You did not mean to record that? Yes... I heard. I am sure I am not the only one. Perhaps there is reason in me finding you here today.
[Action]
[Excuse him while he stares at the ground.] T-that wasn't meant to be on the journal.
[Action]
...do you have a name?
[Action]
[Action]
Crona... do you feel ashamed of your words? I am sure there are others who would understand how you feel. I too have only just begun to attempt to involve myself with others more.
...though I will admit that I did not quite understand what you meant by your 'black blood'.
[The Spirit adds, a little hesitantly.]
[Action]
[He would do anything to just be a normal teen. Without Ragnarok talking in his head and-]
My blood is black.
[Action]
[There was that phrase again. What exactly did he mean by that?]
What does it matter what colour of blood we have? Why should it scare others?
[Action]
[His real self is kinda crazy, and can't deal with anything, and that could end badly here.]
...My blood is different. It can be used as a weapon.
[Action]
I am not sure exactly how this weapon of yours would work but... it is how it is used that matters. Since it is a part of you, do you not control it? It does not seem as though you are a person who would enjoy unnecessary violence... perhaps I am wrong.
[Action]
[When talking about Ragnarok, he always starts talking up a storm in Crona's head.]
